Nurse Heather Bardocz works late. She is a badass with stitching up gashes, delivering vital information, and holding the space. Her favorite part of her job is that it could vanish at any moment. Working as a recurring character on a network show means anything can happen. Working 1 day a week or maybe all 5, you really never know. Playing Nurse Heather is my first experience of working weekly on a television show. A gift in many ways - I paid off my college loans, understood how pilots work, acted along actors who work a lot, the list goes on. The Night Shift had the best premiere ratings for a NBC drama within the last five years. It has held it's audience numbers for a third week in a row. Let's see how it unfolds. I will always be grateful for this adventure, and Heather, thank you for enduring no matter what.
