Ridiculous Six marks my first big tent pole production feature film. It's my deep wish to be in major films like this and I was over the moon to have this experience with Adam Sandler. I grew up watching him on SNL and could watch Billy Madison or The Wedding Singer at the drop of a hat. My family may have been like yours, quoting his songs and one liners, so this to get to play his mom in a parody western was thrilling.
I played Betty Dunson, young Tommy's mom who gets gunned down walking her son to school. This event is the catalyst for Sandler's to become White Knife, an outlaw who was raised by Native Americans. He discovers that he has five half-brothers; together the men go on a mission to find their wayward, deadbeat dad. Let the ridiculousness begin!
Bringing a little more Xanadu into the world.
